We can't wait to meet your child!
Here is what you can expect as you arrive on a typical Sunday.
You will notice when you first arrive that Children have their own welcome station. Please stop there to check your child in and give us a chance to welcome them and give them some small gifts to show them how happy we are that they came.
While there, you will be asked to fill out a short form. This is so we can write to your child. Kids love to get mail so we send them a personal postcard – written especially for them – that week.
You will be accompanied to your child’s room and assigned a number. If your child needs you at any time during the service, we will put the number up on the screens located on the side of the stage. If you don’t notice the number, we’ll flash it. (Don’t’ worry, you’ll see it.)
By the time your child is in 4th grade and in our B-Tween department, most parents prefer to make arrangements with their student to meet up with them at a predetermined place. If you’d prefer we hold them in the classroom until you pick them up, just let us know and we will be ready to work with you. This group is not checked-in.
Children in 3rd grade and under must be picked up by their parent or the person with their check in tags. Leaving them on their own is not an option.
You must present the I.D. tag given you at the beginning of church for us to release your child to you after church. We take your child’s safety seriously. Please understand that and do your best to keep up with your I.D. tag. Failure to produce the tag will seriously slow down the process of checking your child out.
We believe that learning is best done in an atmosphere of love and laughter. We look forward to getting to know your child and introducing them to their best friend, Jesus. If we can do anything to make you or your child feel more comfortable, please let us know.
