The worship teams at Damascus Road Community Church seek to glorify God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit through music, connect non-believers to the Gospel and ministry of Jesus, encourage spiritual growth in those who believe, and serve His church by leading worship services each week.

Adult Worship Teams

Our musicians are teams of volunteers who are called, skilled, and anointed to serve. The team commitment level is between five and 10 hours per week, which includes time of personal preparation. Rehearsals are held weekly on Thursday evenings.

Members of the congregation who want to join the team are evaluated based upon skill, chemistry, and availability. Auditions are required to join (see “How to Join Adult Worship” sidebar).

Youth Mentoring Program

Young adult musicians are invited to participate in the Adult Worship Team by being paired with a member of the adult team to both grow musically and spiritually. To be eligible for the mentoring program, young adults should be active in either the Youth Worship Team or Epicenter ministries. The commitment level is for a defined season and occurs as time permits (family and other commitments may take priority).

Choir Opportunities

General choir opportunities are available several times a year at special services. Members of the congregation may participate without audition, although soloists are selected by the choir leader. Check back at a later time for upcoming choir opportunities.
