Marriage Prepare-Enrich

Many divorces occur partly because couples are not prepared for marriage. Frequently couples spend more time preparing for the wedding ceremony than for their marriage relationship. Each PREPARE-ENRICH Inventory is a 165-item questionnaire assessing relationship strength and growth areas in 20 categories. These categories include:

  • Communication
  • Conflict Resolution
  • Personality Issues
  • Financial Management
  • Spiritual Beliefs
  • Children and Parenting
  • Family & Friends
  • Sexual Expectations
  • Leisure Activities
  • Family-of-Origin

There are five versions of the Inventory.

  1. PREPARE … for premarital couples.
  2. PREPARE-MC … for premarital couples with a child or children.
  3. PREPARE-CC … for cohabiting couples.
  4. ENRICH … for marriage enrichment or marriage counseling.
  5. MATE … for couples over the age of 50, getting married, seeking marriage counseling, or going through life transitions such as retirement.
