Local Service Projects: If you have home maintenance or building skills, or you like to paint and decorate and would like to participate in local community service projects that will be scheduled
throughout the year, contact Bernie Thompson to be notified when a project is scheduled.
Disaster Relief: If you have a heart to do cleanup and restoration following a hurricane or other natural disaster, Helping Hands would consider organizing a team to assist with the project.
Water-Boyz: Helping Hards regularly partners with the Water-Boyz on local service projects. Be sure to read the Water-Boyz Pipeline to learn about upcoming service projects.

Mission Appalachia offers the opportunity for middle school students to serve in one of the poorest communities in the USA, located in Gary, WV.
