What is S.W.I.M. Camp?
It is Sensational Worship in Motion! It is a day camp that is all about tapping into your children’s creative gifts and developing these gifts by teaching them creative arts!

God has blessed each and every one of us with gifts. At S.W.I.M. Camp your child can choose from workshops in Drama, Vocals, Hip-Hop Dance, Photography, PowerPoint, and Worship all for the purpose of learning to glorify God!

What S.W.I.M. Camp is not.
It is not about swimming in a pool! But at the end of the day your kids will get wet playing water games!

Registration Opens Sunday, March 16, 2008

Information packets will be at the Children’s Ministry table on Sunday, March 9th
Info will include 2008 classes and specific descriptions (some age and ability restrictions apply).
Be sure to get your packet, review the info, and turn in your registration early!

Camp Registration Fee is $75.00

Payment is required with Registration.
$50 for each additional child in the same family.
Please make checks payable to DRCC and write S.W.I.M. Camp 2008 in the memo area.
S.W.I.M. Camp is limited to first sixty (60) children to register
Classes will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis so register early!
Class examples from previous S.W.I.M. Camps: Worship, Drama, Dance, Vocal, Set Design, Costumes, Media, Photography, Puppets

Registration Requirements

Child must have completed Kindergarten, and be entering first grade in Fall 2008.
Child must be able to follow verbal directions, work independently and in a group setting.
Due to the nature of this program, S.W.I.M. staff is not equipped to accommodate children with special needs, and/or provide one-on-one supervision (no exceptions please).

Additional Information
Please explain the following to your child and carefully consider classes when registering.

Several classes offered include a performance element, and others do not. This will be clearly identified in the class descriptions available beginning March 9, 2008.
Classes that include a performance element also require a commitment to participate in the S.W.I.M. presentation on Sunday, Aug 3 (exceptions allowed only at discretion of class leaders).
Some classes offered do not include a performance element, and therefore do not require participation in the Sunday presentation.
