Mission Honduras 2005

Mission Summary

Damascus Road Community Church Honduras Mission sent 61 missionaries to Honduras during June and July in the spirit of Acts 2 to accomplish the following:

• 2 houses built in Las Mesas
• 2 houses built in Copán Ruinas
• 2 houses built in Los Planos
• Kindergarten room built for the orphans in Santa Barbara
• 200 foot walkway built in Las Mesas to provide access to the lower building on the property that Damascus Road purchased.
• Helped church brothers do farming at the Church of Zion in Copán Ruinas
• 35 family boxes distributed in Copán Ruinas and Las Mesas accompanied a supply of food
• 5 family boxes with food in Santa Barbara
• 1 girl enrolled in premed in Santa Barbara (private funding)
• Over 1,000 people received medical attention
• Over 600 school children received food
• 3 baptisms in Santa Barbara, including Ryan Bolesta from Damascus Road
• 7 baptisms in Copán Ruinas, including Kim Snyder and Ricardo Batista
• Men's hearts changed in prison through a prison ministry
• Jesus Film shown to over 1,000 people
• Hundreds of Bibles distributed
• Participated in many powerful times of worship and prayer
• Acts of kindness done at Spirit prompting
• 62 Damascus Road missionary hearts changed forever
