Membership

 If you have attended our 2 visitor luncheons, been baptized as a believer, and would like to become a member of our church family, you can do so by signing a membership covenant. The content of this covenant is as follows:

Having committed myself to Jesus Christ as my Savior & Lord, I now feel led by the Holy Spirit to commit myself to this local church body. I intend to protect the unity of my church, pray for the leaders of my church, and participate in the life of my church through the five statements below:

    Evangelism
    I have accepted God's gracious gift to me of salvation through faith in Christ and I desire to help others come to that decision as well. (Ephesians 2:4-9)

    Discipleship
    I desire to cooperate with God's plan for me to experience genuine heart transformation. (2 Peter 3:18, Romans 12:1-2)

    Fellowship
    I desire to grow in my experience of authentic Christian fellowship & community. (Acts 2:46, Hebrews 10:25)

    Ministry
    I desire to identify and use the spiritual gifts that God has given me. (Romans 12:6-8, 1 Peter 4:10)

    Worship
    I desire to develop a generous heart of worship through the careful stewardship of all the resources God pours into my life. (2 Corinthians 9:6-11, Matthew 2:10-11)

I have been baptized as a believer and desire to be a covenant member of Damascus Road Community Church as defined by the statements above and the church bylaws.
