Visitor Classes

 We have two classes that we invite newcomers to check out. One is called the "Heart of Damascus Road" and one is called "More about Damascus Road". We offer one of these classes every month. They each provide an opportunity for you to ask questions as one of our pastors introduces you to the core teachings and values of Damascus Road. Free childcare is provided.
    The Heart of Damascus Road Class is a close look at the very center of our beliefs about the person and work of Jesus Christ. Before joining any Christian church we encourage you to carefully examine their presentation of the gospel of Jesus Christ. It is unfortunately easy for a church to drift toward legalism (obedience to a burdensome collection of rules for salvation) or liberalism (believe nearly anything you want and do nearly anything you want). Legalism and liberalism can have a slow onset but overtime will become very toxic to you and your family's spiritual life. A clear understanding of the person and work of Jesus Christ protects us from a slide in either direction.
    At the More About Damascus Road Class, you will get to meet with some of our leaders and staff and learn about all the ways you can connect here at Damascus Road. You will find out about the three leadership structures at Damascus Road and how they interact. We will review our history and talk about our future home. There is also time built in for Q&A where we get a chance to answer any questions.
