Dear Congregation,
We are approaching the 1st year anniversary of our Capital Campaign – “Following God’s heart to our future by the power of the Lord Jesus Christ”. I will always remember this stretch as a time where the children of God pressed into the heart of God and became Ring-bearers for the Kingdom together. The Injoy Stewardship Services consultants who have been involved in hundreds of campaigns have told us that we reached a goal they could only classify as Stratospheric. Each one of you who said “What Lord?” – “Yes Lord!” – “Thank you Lord” together have begun to build a legacy that will last forever.
On Dec 16th we are going to have a party to celebrate this first year of our grand God-Adventure. If you have a story that would bless our congregation would you be willing to tell it? The story doesn’t have to be about some profound miracle, or some unexpected financial bonanza because of your faithfulness. It could be about persevering under pressure, a lesson God taught you, or perspective about where you are in the process. If you are willing, please send me a paragraph or so about your story and I’ll will contact you to discuss further. We only have time for 3 or 4 stories (they will be video’d ahead of time) so not everyone will have a chance to do this in front of the camera.
