We will lift up the name of Christ in all that we do. Our work must be for God’s glory, rooted in sound biblical doctrine, persistent prayer, and godliness in all our thoughts, words, and deeds.
We partner knowing even after many trips, we may still be largely ignorant of the many challenges our brothers and sisters in other cultures face. Therefore, we will strive to work collaboratively to choose wise, biblical, and culturally-appropriate methods which bear spiritual fruit.
We will work to create healthy, on-going, collaborative partnerships with local leaders that are receptor-focused. We will build this partnership with the understanding that they (not us) are the leaders and we come under them to serve together.
We care about bringing competent leaders and workers to the mission field. Besides screening and training our general missionary team, we also recruit for project-specific skills such as medical, electrical, plumbing and construction. This allows us to work in tandem with a local ministry to address expressed needs effectively.
Team leaders and participants must display Christ-centered, spiritually-mature servanthood. We will build mutual trust and accountability by “getting our hands dirty” alongside our local partners. We will engage by asking questions and listening first.
Leaders and participants on our side will work as a team. When we bring our ideas to the team, we will hold it loosely and build consensus. If it is a Holy Spirit inspired idea, we will see if God is speaking the same thing to others.
We will uphold the unity of our team and our church at all times.
