Family Bible Study on Psalm 139:

When you are ready to do the Bible study with your child(ren), please begin with prayer.

Before you read Psalm 139:1-16 with your child, ask them to listen closely and think about what verse is their favorite and why. Then read Psalm 139:1-16 out loud with your child. Encourage them to read parts of it if they are able. Read through Psalm 139:1-16 at least 2x. Remember, repetition is key to hearing from God and learning!

After you are done reading this passage 2x, ask your child to share their favorite verse and why they picked that verse. And don't forget to share with them your favorite verse as well!

When you are dong sharing, please show your child the following video:

After you are done watching the video, see if your child has any questions.

Close your time in prayer, thanking God for making your child! As you already know, each child is a gift from God (Psalm 127:3). Spend time in praying thanking God for the gift He has given you!

THE NEXT BIBLE CHALLENGE: be sure to check out the DR Kids blog by April 1st for the next challenge in the Psalms Bible Challenge series!
