Prayer & Care

Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you.

Ephesians 4:32

During times of joy or crisis, the DRCC community provides a network of care for one another.

The first level of care is extended through your Small Group or through the Ministry/Volunteer Team on which you serve.

Don't belong to a small group or a serving team yet?

Congregational Care would be glad to respond.

When individual or family needs intensify, if invited, support may be provided by the second level, Congregational Care. To inquire about this level of support contact us through the Care Request button below. Our Care Team will link you to short-term care through our Volunteer Chaplains and related services. Or, they will link you to on-going care through our Stephen Ministry.

The third level addresses those times in life when a severe situation occurs and only an Elder or Pastor can adequately fill the ministry care role.

Stephen Ministers

We will all struggle, yet we need not struggle alone.
Christ’s love heals us.
We experience His love in a community of equipped people.

Our congregation’s Stephen Ministry equips lay-people to provide one-to-one Christian care to people in our congregation and community who are experiencing difficulties in their lives. Stephen Ministry is a confidential ministry. The identity of those receiving care and everything they discuss with a Stephen Minister remain private.

“So, Christ Himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip His people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up, until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.”   (Ephesians 4: 11-13)

It hurts to lose someone.
