JOIN US ON SUNDAY

Join us for Sunday morning services at 10:00 am - online and in-person...

better together!

As the COVID restrictions for Maryland are lifted,

we are revising our gathering plans!

Please note that Children's Ministry registration is no longer required.

Four venues to choose from:

Online - Download the app and take us on the road or watch online
Auditorium - 300+ seats available
Lawn - Bring your lawn chair and sunscreen
Overflow - View the service in the gym in a casual environment with more space

WHAT TO EXPECT

We are excited about having more seats available - both indoors and outdoors - for the Sunday 10am worship service in addition to a children’s program for kids birth through completed 4th grade through the summer. We are following CDC safety guidelines and please note our approach to weekend services:

  • Seat reservations for indoor and lawn seats are no longer needed. The outdoor venue contains a 16 foot LED screen - bring your lawn chair and sunscreen!

  • Masks are optional for all ages, adults and kids. Per CDC, they are strongly recommended for those who are unvaccinated. Note that masks for 2-5 year olds in Children's Ministry’s PreK classes have always been at parent’s discretion.

  • Social distancing will no longer be in effect indoors.

  • For those who feel more comfortable worshiping in an environment with more space, our indoor Overflow venue is a great option.

CHILDREN'S

PROGRAM

We're excited to offer DR KIDS, our children's program for children aged 2 through completed 4th grade, with the relaunch of in-person Sunday gatherings.  An unstaffed nursery is available for children under 2 and their parents.

Masks are optional for all ages, adults and kids. Per CDC, they are strongly recommended for those who are unvaccinated. Note that masks for 2-5 year olds in Children's Ministry’s PreK classes have always been at parent’s discretion.

Check-in is now in the Children's Ministry hallway using the kiosks.  Members of the Children's Ministry Welcome Team will be on-hand if you require assistance.

WHAT DRCC IS DOING

  • Volunteers attest to the CDC health guidelines (attesting they’re not sick, haven’t been exposed to anyone with COVID, etc.)

  • All contact surfaces and bathrooms are sanitized before and after services

  • Hand sanitizer stations outside and in the lobby

  • UV lights and air scrubbers installed in air duct system

  • Masks are optional for all ages, adults and kids. Per CDC, they are strongly recommended for those who are unvaccinated. Note that masks for 2-5 year olds in Children's Ministry’s PreK classes have always been at parent’s discretion.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

  • Do not attend if you’re sick, have a fever or have been exposed to anyone within 14 days who might have COVID (have an outstanding COVID test or have been diagnosed).

  • Each weekend after the service, join us outside on the patio for refreshments and fellowship.

  • Please help us guard our church community’s well-being by notifying Debbie Lawrence, Director of Operations, at DebbieL@damascus.com  if you or a family member test positive for Covid19 after recently attending a DRCC event.

SPECIAL NEEDS & youth ministries

There will be no in-person Haven (our ministry for those with special needs) on Sundays at this time, but a great online option is still available.  Middle and High School will meet at their regularly scheduled days/times in person  with appropriate safety protocols in practice.
