What should I expect when I pull into Damascus Road’s parking lot?

Our friendly Parking Team will be there to welcome you and guide you where to park! If it’s your first time, just turn on your hazard lights—we’ll direct you to a VIP First-Time Guest parking spot reserved just for you, close to the building.

I am handicapped. Is there parking available close to the building for me?

Accepted Answer

Of course! We have multiple handicap parking spaces located directly in front of the building for you to access the building very easily!

Question 3

How early should I arrive on my first visit?

Accepted Answer

Plan to arrive 15–20 minutes early. Visit Guest Central to receive your welcome gift and register your children—it’s quick and easy, and we’ll guide them to their classrooms. Then grab a coffee and head into the sanctuary, where an usher will help you find your seat. You can also pre-register your child before you arrive by clicking the button below.

What can I expect during the church service?

Expect powerful, high-energy worship led by our incredible team, a practical and uplifting message from God’s Word, and a closing song to send you out encouraged! The service is about 60 minutes long.

Question 5

My child might be uneasy about going into a Children’s Ministry classroom on our first visit. Would I be able to bring him/her into the service with me?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Children of all ages are welcome to attend services with their parent/guardian at any time! You are also welcome to stay with your child in their classroom until they feel comfortable enough for you to leave them. We want your first time experience to be a positive one for everyone so please do whatever makes you feel most comfortable!

What happens if my child gets upset in their classroom while I am attending the service?

Accepted Answer

If your child becomes upset and inconsolable, one of our Children’s Ministry staff will send a text message to the phone number listed on your child’s registration form asking you to come console your child.

Question 7

I have middle school and high school-aged children that will attend with me. Where do they go during the service?

Accepted Answer

All middle and high school students attend services with their parent/guardian. We offer a program for our middle school students on Sunday evenings and for our high school students on Wednesday nights and encourage you to bring them back for those meetings!

Do you have a safety team on the grounds during your services?

Accepted Answer

Yes! We have a trained safety team that monitors both the interior and exterior of the building during all three services so you can feel at ease while attending the service.

If I have additional questions either before or after my visit, where should I go to have them answered?

Accepted Answer

We welcome any question you might have and you are encouraged to either stop by Guest Central in the main lobby or you can email your questions to: damascus@damascus.com and someone will get back to you in a timely manner.

We have a Let’s Connect class for anyone who is new to Damascus Road and wants to get more acquainted with our church. It is offered on Sunday every other month during our 10 am service. We would love to get to know you better!
