Considered by some to be the traditional Small Group, our in-home groups are facilitated by Damascus Road leaders and meet in homes. These gatherings typically include Bible study, discussion, prayer and a time of relaxed fellowship. New groups welcome!

We believe that no woman should journey life alone. Through the laughter and tears we help each other grow closer to God and women in our community. We offer multiple opportunities for women to connect with other women every season of the year at times that are convenient to most schedules.
Sister 2 Sister
This women’s group meets several times a year for a special Bible study class for 6-10 weeks studying various topics, offering both morning and evening sessions. Sister 2 Sister is a great way to get to know women of all ages, experience mentor-ship and build friendships while pouring over thoughtfully chosen, biblically-based curriculum. Though considered a class, a portion of our time together includes small group discussions.
Visit our Classes page for upcoming Sister 2 Sister opportunities.
Men’s Ministry at Damascus Road is a vibrant, active group where men can come together through a variety of connecting and growing opportunities. Seasonal classes and a Men's Boot Camp are held throughout the year, along with small multi-generational groups called "triads" where men learn their next right step.
Join a group of men in your area that meets weekly in a public place for food, prayer, Scripture reading and sharing.
JOIN A 10-MAN TABLE
Triads are an inter-generational, three-man group committed to walking a 12-month journey together through prayer and study of the fundamentals of the Christian faith. FIND OUT MORE.
Once a quarter, join other DRCC men for a hearty home-cooked breakfast and an engaging time together as we all seek out the right next step in our faith journey. Upcoming breakfast dates will be updated on our Events page.
For single or married young adults age 18 to 30, who are college or career-focused, our Small Groups are designed for you to meet people and dig into God’s Word. We gather weekly in homes in the Frederick, Damascus, and Mt. Airy regions.
Two to three times a year, The Gathering is where young adults can connect in community, and engage over worship and relative topics. Refreshments are provided and everyone ages 18-30 is invited, including singles or married couples.
Haven is a community where everyone is welcome: children, teens and adults with disabilities, along with their families and friends. The entire family is encouraged to participate, learn, have fun and share life together. In God's eyes, we are all God's special people with needs.
After enjoying Saturday evening worship together in the auditorium with our church family at 5pm, Haven relocates to the Youth/Haven room for joyful play, sharing, music, video, art, prayer and Bible study. A simple, life-changing message is taught through adaptive teaching techniques using a Jesus-centered, interactive approach. The Haven desires to actively facilitate inclusion of individuals with disabilities into other church programs as appropriate.
The Men's Ministry sponsors various programs throughout the year that include sports leagues, outings, and open gym activities for men and women. We recognize that sports activities can be a powerful relational tool.
Currently, we offer spring and summer league softball, winter basketball, spring and fall golf outings, fall volleyball, and winter bowling outings.
Spring/Summer co-ed softball teams are now forming. Join us for an informational meeting on January 28.
